We recommend the following tips to bring the exterior and interior of your home into top condition. Additionally, it's important to get your house ready for showings in order to fetch top dollar on the sale of your home.
Exterior Keep yard carefully mowed, edged and fertilized during growing season Keep snow and ice removed from sidewalks and steps in winter Trim back bushes and trees from house and garage Weed and maintain all planted areas Keep porch, patio and sidewalks swept Replace worn or badly stained door mats Use a cleaner to remove oil stains from driveway and garage floor Repair cracks in driveway, garage floor, sidewalk, patio and porch Test all fences and gates - repair if needed Move all garbage cans, extra building materials and supplies out of sight Sweep out garage and keep it tidy Make sure all door locks work properly Clean and repair screens and screen doors Make sure all exterior lighting is in working order Check gutters and down spouts to make sure they are secure and cleaned out Check roof and replace missing shingles
